Skype for Business freezes and says "Not Responding" when started

My Skype for Business freezes whenever I try to run it. When I try to run Skype the splash/loading screen appears then the main window comes up. When I click the program the windows grays out and says Not Responding in the title. Clicking the window again causes windows to say the program is not responding and gives the option to close or restart the program.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 365 (which this program installed as a part of). Cleared out cached Lync/Skype for Business files, and made sure my drivers are up to date.

We need the error to proceed so we have to wait for the client to error out?

What is the windows operating system?

if there is crash occurring

Open Windows Event Viewer -> Custom Views -> Administrative Events. Look for the recent error mesages with timestamp corresponding to Skype crash.
